Flood/Construction Lights NEEDED

Due to the intense dust storms recently our portable light tower was knocked down during the storm and broken. Currently, the band is struggling to see the last hour of night rehearsals. I am desperately reaching out to our band family to see if any parents have some lights we could borrow in the meantime while our light tower gets repaired. Please reach out via my email josorio@pusd11.net if you might be able to help the students with lighting during night rehearsals. Thank you for your help and consideration.

THUR 9/4 Parent Night Rehearsal 6:30-7:15pm

Thank you, parents, for all your assistance this past Friday. The band staff and I realized that due to the sheer number of items needing to be transported and set up for performance we would once again like to invite you to join myself and the staff for an evening rehearsal to practice set up and tear down. Please join us down at the field at 6:30pm. We are trying to get the stadium to practice on this Thursday and will update you on the location of rehearsal as the time gets near on Parent Square.

AZ Cardinals Performance Update

We are officially performing on September 14^th for the AZ Cardinals Game! Transportation will be provided for the band to and from the event. This event is not mandatory however it does cost $40 per student to participate. If your student would like to attend please ensure that you pay no later than tomorrow September 2^nd at 5pm. I am meeting with the Cardinals Game Day Organizers this Friday to discuss all the details. I will be sure to send out the itinerary and what is needed for the day of so everyone can be prepared for the performance. Thank you for your assistance in making this opportunity happen. It will be a great time to showcase our students abilities and hard work!

As of now 95 band students have agreed to participate which means we have a total of 210 seats still available for family members, friends, and band fans to join us that Sunday. Tickets will be available on a first come first serve basis on our band store website. All additional ticket purchases will be closed at 5pm on Thursday September 4^th. Thank you for your help and cooperation. This will be a fun opportunity for us to showcase your students’ talents at a big event. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Booster Hub Booster Bucks Fundraiser Update

Our Booster Hub Booster Bucks Fundraiser is happening NOW!

So far, we have raised $8,284.45 of the $10,000 goal in just one week. Keep it up band family!

Our top 3 earners (1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd) so far are Emily S. $675.00, Brody S. $645.00 & Lucas A. $575.00. Way to go band let’s keep the momentum going by sharing our fundraiser with all of our family and friends!

I have received a few questions regarding how to sign up for the fundraiser. The following steps should help:

Step 1 Ensure You Are Registered On BoosterHub

To sign up for Booster Hub, start by visiting our website, prideofsunrise.org, and click the Register Now link in the homepage menu near the top right. You may need to click on the drop down menu if using a mobile device. You will fill out a brief registration form and, once approved, you will receive an email with directions for completing your registration and downloading the app. From there you are able to access our fundraiser rally page.

Step 2 Ensure You Are Registered On BoosterHub

Begin creating your fundraising profile. The instructions for doing this are in the PDF attached to this email.

Students strive to collect 10-20 contacts to send messages to rally donations. If any of them have questions, or they are not getting the invite to join the fundraiser please reach out to Cyndi Sankar at Cynthia.Sankar@prideofsunrise.org

Additionally, as an incentive for raising the most amount of funds the TOP 5 will be able to silly string the staff. Thank you students and parents for all your support!
